Adaptive narrow band MultiFLIP for efficient two-phase liquid simulation

Liquid-gas interactions produce many interesting phenomena such as droplets, bubbles, and the "glugging" effect of water pouring. Reproducing those phenomena, however, are difficult problems in both the computational physics and computer graphics communities. In order to simulate these two-phase phenomena, Boyd and Bridson proposed the MultiFLIP method, which is an extension of the fluid implicit particle (FLIP) method introduced by Zhu and Bridson and preserves all its good properties such as excellent conservation of energy with little dissipation.
